Artist Statement: I adopted my country, Colombia, and my experiences as part of my concepts to try to show the world how we take many things for granted.  As I moved to the USA in the pursuit of my undergraduate degree I was submerged in a new culture and language. This caused me to be in constant search of identity.  These areas have shaped me as a person and as an artist. My body of work reflects my ideas as I try to show different points of view to the world.
